Automotive Pneumatic Jack For Garages

Automotive pneumatic jack is an improvised device, which is used to lift heavy vehicles, so that it can be repaired or serviced. It is very commonly used while having a flat tyre.

Previously the garage owners used to use automotive jacks, which were bulky and difficult to use. Then automotive pneumatic jacks are invented. No other device can be compared to this. The reason for its popularity is, it is very simple in design and it lifts the vehicles instantaneously and conveniently. It is flexible and is easy to use.

The Pneumatic Jack is a device, which has housing and having a passageway operating with a chamber. It has a cover, which is removable is attached to the housing and a piston is slide ably disposed within the chamber; an element, which can lift objects is disposed above the cover. Then a rod is fixed so that it can connect the piston and the lifting device.

There are some ways for actuating the pneumatic jack pneumatically so that it can raise and keep the object in an elevated position. For this actuating purpose a device is invented. It is a container, which has a pressurized gas connected to a throttle valve and kept in the close proximity of the said container. In this way the container can introduce pressurized gas in the passage and into the chamber with the help of a hose, which connects the throttle valve and the housing next to the passage way.

The pressurized gas is introduced into this container when the object has to be lifted and the pressure is released when the object has to be lowered. The gas, which is used for this purpose is a combination of CO2, Air and Helium. The cover has a vent, which removes the air trapped between the chamber and the piston while lifting operation is happening. Oppose to this the vent draws air for the purpose of retracting the piston while the lowering operation is happening.

After further research a handle has been attached to the Pneumatic Jack so that it can be handled easily by everyone.

This kind of Automotive Pneumatic Jacks can be found used in the garages for their ability in easier handling and smooth operation. In the garages this device is needed because of the amount of servicing and repairing done there.
