Backyard Sprinklers

A back yard of a house is usually a place for the garage. Or it is often a place for the small children to play. In India, it is a common site to see all the waste material dumped in a room in the back yard. The back yard can be made equally attractive as the front yard of the house. It can be a place where you can relax in the evening sipping a cup of tea. There are numerous ideas and styles by which you can get going towards making this part of the house attractive. Either you can give it a traditional look by making a sit out or you can also plant a lawn with different kinds of flowers to make it look attractive. The first one may not need any maintenance except dusting it daily. But certainly the lawn and the plants need more care than just daily cleaning.

There are various ways you can do this task. One is you can water them with a hose. Or to make the work simple and less time consuming fix a sprinkler!

There are mainly five types of sprinklers: Immobile sprinklers, swinging sprinkler, thumping sprinkler, revolving sprinkler and roving sprinklers.

Immobile sprinklers: These are stationed at one place in the garden, shooting water through two or more lines of holes. These are best suited for small areas and gardens.

Swinging sprinkler: These sprinklers move in swinging manner, throwing the water in a rectangular shape. These cover a medium or a larger area of the garden.

Thumping sprinklers: Due to the thumping action of these sprinklers the area covered by these types of sprinklers is more and is more on the lower level as compared to other sprinklers.

Revolving sprinkler: These sprinklers throw water in a circular pattern and are suitable for all sizes of garden

Roving sprinklers: These sprinklers travel in the garden covering a larger area and in irregular pattern.

Above mentioned sprinklers vary cost wise, size wise and come in different designs. An ideal sprinkler should satisfy all your needs and serve the needs.
