Bird Stalking

Stalking is approaching to ones target in a stealthy manner. Bird stalking is regarded as a fun activity and it also requires a great art in doing the job well. The well known tricks for bird stalking are very common. These tricks includes: Avoid wearing bright clothes, no making loud sound or moving very fast around, at the same time avoiding open areas.

Bird stalking is an exciting and a fun providing activity to us without causing any pain to other living creatures on the earth. The real joy of bird stalking arrives while creeping quietly like shadows on your hands and knees along the bushes of the river-side without disturbing a single twig or a pebble on your way. You have to do this unless and until you sight a pair of sandpipers. Then you have to lie down low for viewing their beautiful runs, charming tricks of the head and the tail and then hearing their wonderful music

You may search for such a location that has things that the birds do like. These include food, water and shelter. Select such a spot and you will be very comfortable there. Just maintain silence and don’t move around.

Stalking is an exquisite exercise and an interesting game when you follow a bird to get more nearer to them without giving them a chance to know that someone is observing them and following them. Stalking does not mean only crawling and creeping, but it also needs the ability of balancing yourself on your feet steadily. Stalking requires training yourself walking along the grasses, wood or a road very quietly as well as controlling your muscles completely.

Whenever you are stalking the bird with a camera it is suggested that you stop at periodic intervals, taking few shots at a time. The bird may fly off due to the flashing noise before you try to get closer towards it. So to have more number of pictures, try to take few pictures at a time. It may so happen that many a times; the bird may itself come to you when you are stalking. This provides you with the best opportunity. Use it carefully.
