There are many types of home pumps which are available to all the users. The many use of these home pumps are very useful in gardening. Note that the pumps can be used in situations where water is present deep in the ground or the only source of water is a well which is far away or deep. You have to consider many points to be considered which are very important while selecting the pumps.

The types of pumps are as follows:

Firstly we are going to consider the Well pumps:

These are required mainly in the areas where there are wells. These wells assist to push the water from underground wells and water resources. This is done through the agency of pipes which lead to the required destination. Well water pumps also come in various types of sizes and horse power.

The pressure tank which is present in these pumps regulates pressure with ease. Note that the seasonal changes also change the pressure of the pipes. But the presence of the water pressure tank keeps the water flow steady year round.

Now let us consider another water pump which is the sump pump:

The main use of sump pump is the pumping out of extra water from the buildings or the fields too. It is similar with respect to the working of well pump. But it is very important for house hold purposes. The other distinct advantage of this pump is that this pump can work in extreme wet conditions.

Two main types of sump pumps are present:

A submersible pump and a floor model pump.

Let us consider them one by one.

A submersible can be positioned beneath the water line as the name suggests. On the other hand the floor pumps can be placed on the floor level. The advantage of the former is such that it can handle larger quantities of water. And can be fully submerged without any electrical shortages or any damage to itself.

Centrifugal pumps:

Centrifugal pumps are IC type of pumps. They are used to pump water from reservoirs, lakes, wells, streams etc. So they can pump water from a various sources of water. These pumps are very easy to maintain and handle. So these pumps have become very popular.

These are the pumps which are useful for domestic use only.
