How To Clean The Feeder

It is very much essential to keep cleaning feeder once a month or one can do it regularly, if it is possible. There are various kinds of bacteria which infest feeders. Different kinds of diseases like salmonella which pass from one songbird to other in other area. This disease goes on spreading from bird to bird. It becomes very much essential to keep cleaning feeder as one can.

Kindly follow following steps to clean the feeder

Gently remove the left side seed and any other debris feeder. Wash the corner with the help of brush, there may be some stubborn material lodged. Take a tub, fill it with one part bleach and 9 part hot water. Now put the feeder inside the tub. Let it b in tub for 1 to 3 minute so that it get soak in the bleach solution. After 1/3 minute remove the feeder, and let I be dry completely.

Now lets look at how Hummingbird feeder are clean. It requires Dishwashing Detergent. It also needs long bottle Brushes. Need specially designed hummingbird feeder cleaning brushes. Bleach liquid for making solution. Detergent required for cleaning purpose. One need Towels for soaking purpose.

Take down feeder; make it empty by taking out nectar in it. Disassemble every part and wash every part with hot water and also soapy water. Now wash feeder using bottle brush. Put 2 tale spoon of bleach inside the feeder, after that pour hot water inside it. Make the feeder to be upright for almost 30 minute, which makes all molds get vanished. Similarly soak other parts of feeder in bleach solution. Be sure to wet every portion of feeder, after this dries every part of feeder. Now refill the feeder with nectar and put it at its regular place.
