Painting Bird Houses In Backyard

There are various advantages of painting bird house. It is good for human being as well as birds. It is very much essential to paint newly built bird house. Painting bird house protect it from getting damaged in rainy, winter or summer season. As rain hit the house there may be chances of collapsing the wood. Rain can also rust the iron if used in bird house. It also protect bird house from getting crack or split. One can use four different colors at four side of the house. It is necessary to give good coating of paint on roof side, because in rainy season this portion has to face wide hit of water. To avoid rusting or cracking from roof good coating of good quality paint is required. One can use any color depending on their choice but there are some regulation which have to follow while painting bird house.

Apply paint which is safe for food, like linseed oil, other petroleum based oils those gives higher safety. Don't used to apply paint inner side of the house, always apply paint only to outer side as small birds used to bite to paint, it may cause poison to them. Inner side of the house should be kept as it is. Choose the outer color such that it should not be recognizable by predators. These color houses get hidden from predator which gives bird safety.

Bright painted bird house gives good look to bird house. It gives pleasure to eyes while looking towards bird house. Bright colors also catch attention of bird watcher when baby bird alone in house. Always use neutral, tan or brown color. Our only aim is to protect backyard bird as we can.
