The thought of biting into home grown plum or peach or a pear is more then enough for you to get inspired for gardening. Always observe the summer climate of your region. This will be very important for you to decide the variety according to the climate and your first job should be of finding that out. I f you do not do this then your fruit tree will give you problems.

If you do not get good sunlight in your area then the fruits which you have obtained are not good in nature they are not juicy. If in your region if you have a cloudy and rainy summer season then you are bound to have problems.

In such season then you can have a lot of trouble from the insects the pests.

Due to the presence of humid climate there are changes of mass fungal diseases which will infect the plant. For different varieties of fruits different degrees of warmth are required. Without this warmth they are unable to provide good fruits.

These fruits are then of substandard quality and then of no use. Standing water in your orchard can also be a problem.

IF the soil which is present in your orchard binds to excess water then the fruit trees will not grow properly. So a proper draining soil is necessary for your orchard.

The best soil for this purpose is loamy soil.

So make sure that you have this kind of soil. If you do not have this kind of soil then you can prepare the soil to give you similar results. So soil is very important aspect of gardening of fruit trees and most of the problems originate from it.

Many of the commercial fruit tree varieties are not suitable for home orchards since they are climate specific and require their own specific micro climate. If you have not considered this then lot of problems such as low yield, poor quality of fruits, no vigor in the growth of the plants. Etc are the problems which are faced by the home orchards.
