Speciality Casters

A specialty caster as its name suggests, it has to meet the special, most demanding and unique customer applications. Specialty casters are manufactured by modifying existing caster components such as:

* Casters yoke by drilling, tapping material, color, shortening or extending overall height and swivel radius.

* Add shock absorbers to casters

* Modify wheels by additional thread guards

* Adjust base plate attachment configuring drilling and tapping

* Add dual breaking systems

* Number of Special colors are available

* Groove urethane wheels can be applied

* Plastic casters such as yoke and wheel are useful

* Swivels can also be utilized

Specialty casters are designed according to the special application, they are available in all colors as per the customer requirements, and there are following specialty casters:

* Multi function scaffold caster:

It involves a hard rubber wheel with a total locking break that makes it roll easy on variety of surfaces and perfectly fits in most of scaffold sets.

* Pallet jack steer wheel:

It is a pallet jack wheel with an accurately sealed ball bearing placed on a cast iron. It is the first domestic and import pallet jack.

* Polyurethane on steel scaffold caster:

Polyurethane tread attached to polyolefin core is non-marking and resistant to most of the chemicals. This threaded stem fits most of the shopping carts and comes with ball bearing.

* Rubber on steel scaffold caster:

These are molded on a cast iron core that makes them extra tough, shock absorbent, and easy to roll on any surface. This caster is most frequent in masonry scaffolding.

* Grip ring stem caster:

It is available in .845" diameter stem that is generally used on wire rack shelves. It has a special grip ring that allows caster to attain a tight fit in hollow tubing.

Others casters are available according to order they are like hollow river caster, stainless steel caster, lo-profile swivel caster, etc. applications of caster again varies according to the load it is carrying:

Light duty specialty caster is versatile and more economical as it takes less area but has more capacity. So it used in light office equipment, medical equipment, noise reduction.

Medium duty specialty caster: it is applicable in textile trailers and light to medium duty involving ground support equipment.

Higher duty specialty caster: they are capable of carrying huge weight so they are applicable in aircrafts and jets.
