Threaded Casters

Threaded casters are available in variety of wide range that is offered in light, medium and heavy-duty category. They are heated for a longer wear of the caster. It has a body of zinc plate finish with double ball bearing swivel and hardened raceways. The raceways are provided with replaceable nuts and bolt axles. These casters can be used in every possible conceivable application and in heavy-duty models.

The specifications of the threaded casters consist of the diameter of approximately 11 inches by 16 inches. The screws are piped directly into standard pipe couplings for a rigid and a permanent fit. This allows for complete swivel action. The pipe fits in to the 3 inch by 4 inch pipe coupling.

Some of the features of the threaded casters are as follows

* Available with 2 inch or 3inch wheels with variety of materials available like the gray soft rubber, black polyolefin (industrial plastic), gray polyurethane, or black hard rubber.

* It has a capacity to hold up to 80 lbs per caster.

* Polyolefin wheels can be used for standing loads at full capacity.

* Gray soft rubber wheels are not suggested for standing loads.

* The metal cover shields swivel bearings from outer atmosphere of dirt and dust. The swivel is constructed with use of stamped steel.

* The double ball bearing provides better performance and greater durability.

* Soft rubber wheel which is non-marked used for hard floor surfaces such as vinyl, concrete, plastic mats and tiles.

* Non-marking black polyolefin wheel can be used for most hard floors but they are not suited for hard wood floors. They can be also used on carpets with some carpet wear.

The installation of the heavy-duty threaded casters is very easily done and stays intact for a longer period once done. The zinc-plated casters are available in different wheel types. There are options to choose from for even the brakes and the forks. They help in lending a customized look with apt functionality. These threaded casters are ideal for most of the institutional equipments. They are available in the market with wide variety of wheel selections.
