The roses are one of the most beautiful flowers and they are very popular in the world. They are perennials and they would provide flowers years after years in the spring season. Many people use them for the various purposes like greeting anybody or decoration. They are the flowers that will occupy the top most position if we consider how much they are in the use in the world. The rose plant is small plant that you can grow in your household garden as well. You can plant it outdoors in the ground or you can also plant them in containers, which you may place inside the house or outside.

The conditions needed

The roses plants grown in most of the regions of the world and hence they are comfortable with most of ht environmental conditions. Therefore, you do not need to care much for them.

They are perennials. They require a moderate amount of water in the soil. The soil should be well porous or it should have good drainage capabilities. Its pH should be ranging 5.8 to 6.3. If the soil in your area does not have a pH in this range then you need to bring it in this range. In addition to this, you should remember that the rose plant would require at least 6 hours of sunlight. They remain dormant in the winter and, they bloom in the spring.

Planting the roses

The roses do not bear fruits in most of the regions of the world and therefore in these regions they can grow from the cuttings. The saplings are available with the nurseries. You should by them in the winter when they are in a dormant condition. You need to replant these. While replanting them you should apply some moss at the roots, as this would keep them moist.

For planting them, you should select a proper place as per the requirements. You should dig a hole of generally 12 inches in depth. You should plant them in winters as they grow very will in the spring that would follow. While planting them take care that you remove all the weeds or other unnecessary competitors.

Care

You should do the proper cutting and pruning for good branching and flowering. You should also take care of any infection from pests. Provide proper fertilizers to it for healthy plants.
