Tools For Building Bird Houses

You are interested in bird watching and feeding them. So you want to make your backyard a nesting place for the different birds. So you have made up your mind that you will create a bird house. But, you will have a question aroused in your mind that from where to begin? Firstly, decide upon what type of house you want to make and the different materials that twill be required for it. Below given is a list of tools for building the bird houses. Gather them and you can begin with your work.

The different tools that are required for building the bird houses are:

* Hammer- the hammer that you are going to use should be a sturdy hammer, or else you may hurt yourself in the process. Also there should be a claw at the backside of the hammer for removing the nails, if any.

* Screw Driver- usually there are two types of screw drivers that are: a Phillips head screw driver and the other is the standard screw driver. The screw that you will be using for building the bird house will determine which type of screw driver you will need. Also an automatic screw driver or a power drill can be used to reduce the force while screwing inside the fastener.

* T-square- these are the big rulers that are used in the woodworking process. It is used for taking the correct measurement as well as for marking the wood. This allows you to get exactly straight cuts and also the screws are lined up in a straight line.

* Saw- a saw is used for the cutting of wood that are required for building the bird houses. A hand saw can be used, but it consumes a lot of time and energy for cutting the wood.

* Drill and Bits- a drill machine is used for making holes for the nails and screws to make the bird house. It allows the easy entry of the fastener into the wood without spoiling it. Bits are used for making the holes for the entrance of the birds in the house. Generally, 1/8th or 1/4th inch bits are enough to make the pre-fastener hole and also holes for the ventilation and drainage.
