V Groove Casters

The V Groove Caster wheels are designed to guide equipment by means of rolling it on inverted track made up of iron. The relief groove that is provided at the base of the “V” equalizes and supports load properly on each side of the angle. Moreover, the lofty tracks minimize the problems caused by the floor debris.

V Groove casters are finding eminent applications in the areas of industrial carts, containers, assembly fixtures, racks and other equipments. Mainly they are used where there is need to control the direction desirably, protect floors and provide ease of movement. The V groove casters are highly strong and are iron castings with a 90-degree groove. The angle is provided for operation on inverted angle iron track. They are also used to control the flow of the load between machines and over long distances.

Features of the V groove caster wheels include;

* The wheels are hot forged from C1045 steel.

* These wheels, being highly adaptable can operate even on angled iron tracks or on normal floor surfaces.

* The wheel bearings can be precision roller tapered bearings or straight roller bearings.

The v groove casters are frequently used in the areas where precise alignment is necessary. They are also used in industrial ovens, paint baths, and similar equipments.

Cast Iron v grooves are made from semi-steel materials. They can be used as standard wheels on flat surfaces. These are typically used in industrial and ware housing facilities as well as manufacturing plants. The widths of the wheel are available in both the ranges of 7inch by 8 inch, and 1 by 3/8 inch. These casters are capable of handling high temperatures and they are painted in black color.

The Glass, filled Nylon v groove is another type of the caster and is weather resistant. They will not rust and are perfect for outdoor usage. They also serve the purpose in wash down applications. Groove is machined at 90 degrees and has a relief slot at the end of the groove. They are available with 7/8″ groove width. The v groove casters mentioned above have varied applications in many other fields as well.
